Anya Randall Nebel
Anya Randall Nebel has been in the theater for over 40 years as a singer, actor, director and producer. In 2004, after successfully touring both nationally and internationally, Ms. Nebel founded, Winters Lane Productions. In 2017, Ms. Nebel graduated from Berklee School of Music with a degree in Music Production and Engineering. Ms. Nebel was last seen onstage in the Helen Hayes recommended, Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill at the Anacostia Playhouse. Ms. Nebel has been a 3 time Honors recital soloist at Carnegie Hall. Currently, Ms. Nebel works full-time as a Expert for Apple, Inc. Ms. Nebel’s greatest accomplishment is being the mom to Mareike Elisabeth Nebel, who’s currently a Freshmen at The New School, New York City. |
Rikki Howie
A DMV actress, choreographer, director and avid diversity activist is excited to be joining this very important continued discussion about representation, visibility and change. Owner of Confidence Theatrics a Theater consulting company set out to bridge the gap of access in theater and provide feedback and training to individuals and companies alike looking to change their craft and their processes. |
Aaron Reeder
Noted as "one of greater Washington DC area's finest young talents" (The Gazette) and possessing "a voice that soars" according to The Washington Post, Aaron has performed with music luminaries from Dave Brubeck to Renee Fleming to Kristen Chenoweth. Engaged professionally in theaters, opera houses, museums and educational institutions around the world in the capacity of facilitator, lecturer and performer, Reeder is exceptionally skilled at combining his very different fields of study and interests –music, collaboration, marketing, and history into one profession. |
Nikki Summons
Nikki Summons is an actor, writer, and director based in Brooklyn. She is currently in her final year of training at the Tom Todoroff Conservatory in NYC. She has trained with professionals at the top of their craft including Jessica Hecht, Andrew Wade, Jared Kirby, Mary Lou Rosato, Eugene Ma, Anna Garduno, Miriam Silverman, Patrick Mulryan, Katie Flahive, Janice Orlandi to name a few. She spent many years in the DC Theater Scene with favorite roles including Lenora Gardner in Restoration Stage's The Very Last Days of the First Colored Circus, Barbara Fordham in Tantallon's production of August: Osage County, and Mrs. Daigle in Zemfira Stage's production of The Bad Seed. Timoth David Copney
Timoth David Copney is delighted to be on this journey. Recent favorite roles include Padre (Man of La Mancha), Jo(Anne) (Company), The Wiz (The Wiz), Jacob (La Cage Aux Folles), Judas (Jesus Christ Superstar), Bobby (A Chorus Line), Old Man (In the Closet) and Belize (Angels in America). He has either directed, choreographed or done both for Songs For a New World, Man of La Mancha, The Tempest, Sweet Charity, Jacques Brel . . . , Oliver (2x), The Wiz (2x), Ragtime (3x), Guys and Dolls, Hello, Dolly! (2x), Annie, Godspell (2x), Sunday in the Park with George, Drowsy Chaperone, Addams Family. Timoth has decades of experience in theatre. A classically trained dancer, he is a veteran of several Equity tours, including Annie Get Your Gun (Florence Henderson Tour), Applause (Alexis Smith Tour), Music Man (Peter Marshall/Lee Meriweather and John Davidson Tours). For a Canadian television series, he was the featured dancer alongside guest stars including Eartha Kitt, Georgia Engel, Liz Torres, Frank Gorshin, Paul Williams, J.J. Walker and many others. He has worked on more than 45 productions in the Baltimore area as a dancer, director, choreographer, singer, and actor. Current Board Chair Baltimore Playwright Festival. Cheramie Julianne Jackson
Cheramie Julianne Jackson is a native of the DMV area, attending the University of Howard and Maryland University for Musical Theatre/ Drama. She is an actress, producer, casting director, acting coach, and dancer. Danced with Jones & Haywood Capitol Ballet, & Georgia State University dance team. Her favorite productions/performances include Cabaret, The Color Purple, Secret Garden, Pirates of Penzance, and A Soldier’s Play, 12 Angry Men. Everything I am and do is for God, my family, and art! |
Don Michael Mendoza
Don Michael Mendoza is the Co-Founder and Executive Artistic Director of LA TI DO Productions where he’s collectively produced over 300 cabarets, concerts, theatrical shows, and events throughout Washington, DC (Arena Stage, Shakespeare Theatre Company, The Kennedy Center), New York City (Dramatists Guild Foundation, Feinstein’s/54 Below, Bowery Poetry Club), Los Angeles, his hometown of Pittsburgh, and beyond, since 2012. He most recently played a supporting role in the film The Girl Who Left Home (Coming October 2020) alongside Paolo Montalban (Whitney Houston’s Cinderella) and is the creator of his re-branded blog: Producing While Asian (www.producingwhileasian.com). Don Michael holds a B.A. in Musical Theatre & Journalism, and a M.A. in Strategic Communication from American University. |

Lawrence O. Grey, Jr.
Lawrence Grey has been active in the DC Metro Area theater scene for over 15 years now. He has been seen on stage in productions with Little Theater of Alexandria, Dominion Stage of Arlington, St. Marks Players, Port City Playhouse, The Arlington Players, and Aldersgate Theater. Lawrence is an Actor, Singer, Stage Manager, Producer Lawrence has lent his voice as a regular performer at La-Ti-Do Productions a music and spoken word cabaret performance, both DC and NYC, Pittsburgh and LA. He recently became Operation Manager for the DC chapter of La Ti Do. He is employed by Day as the Special Services Manager for The Salvation Army National Headquarters. |
Shemika Renée
Shemika Renée is a costumer, award nominated and winning actress (WATCH Award nominee 2015 and First Qtr Winner Enginuity Film Festival 2017), and an award winning makeup artist (WATCH Awards 2013 and Clifton Film Celebration 2017). She is also the former Head Costumer and Makeup Adjunct Professor at the College of Southern Maryland. After serving in the Air Force for 5 1/2 years, this former officer decided to pursue her dreams of being on stage and film. She has performed on many stages throughout the DMV to include roles in "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "The Miracle Worker", "A Raisin in the Sun","Doubt: A Parable", "Fences", "The Color Purple", "Seven Guitars", "August: Osage County", and “Ragtime”. Her costume, makeup and hair designs have spanned shows from fantasy to period era productions. She has done background work on "House of Cards", "The Blacklist" and "VEEP". In addition to being an Historical Interpreter at The National Colonial Farm in Accokeek, MD, she also travels to schools throughout Maryland bringing historical figures to life. In February 2020 she portrayed Harriet Tubman at The Capitol Building in honor of Harriet Tubman Day, sponsored by Vice President Kamala Harris. |
