The two-act event will present original arrangements of his diverse range of works, from his Broadway debut with West Side Story, to the show stopping Follies, to Pulitzer Prize-winning Sunday In The Park With George.

Bailey Galindo
Lyric mezzo soprano Bailey Galindo employs a diverse skill-set to entertain audiences in a variety of musical genres. In repertoire that spans from Mozart to Sondheim, she has performed with LAH-SOW Opera Workshop, Peabody Opera Theatre, Texas State Opera Theatre, Texas State Department of Theatre and Dance, and Spotlight on Opera as Third Lady in Die Zauberflöte, Ino in Semele, Big Sister in The Hiding Tree, Cathy in The Last Five Years, Amy in Company, Sandman (cover) in Hansel and Gretel, Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro, Frau Reich in Merry Wives of Windsor, and Flora Mezaros in Flora the Red Menace. Ms. Galindo also has a substantial amount of ensemble work under her belt. Seen in the chorus for productions of La Rondine, the staged premier of Pride and Prejudice, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hindesmith’s Sancta Susanna, the world premier of Lady Bird: The First Lady of the Land, and as a dancer in productions of Hansel and Gretel and Carmen, she showcases her marketability. In addition, she has been featured in ensemble pieces as the Alto I in the world premier recording of Sebastián de Vivanco’s Magnificat a sexti toni, and a soloist in Texas State Chorale’s collegiate premier of Craig Hella Johnson’s Considering Matthew Shepard. Ms. Galindo can be seen this August in the chorus of Puccini’s La Bohème with Annapolis Opera. |
Christa Beveridge
Christa Beveridge is a young and upcoming soprano with a commanding voice of stylistic versatility. Originally hailing from Northumberland, Pennsylvania, she got her artistic start early and performed Rutter’s Gloria and Te Deum under the direction and tutelage of Maestro John Rutter himself at Carnegie Hall in the spring of 2012. During her undergraduate studies at Albright College, Christa was fortunate to work under the direction of Mr. Jeffrey Lentz in two operettas; The Pirates of Penzance as Mabel, and Candide as Cunegonde. She was nominated for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival’s Irene Ryan Acting Competition for her work as Mabel. She additionally participated as a chorus member in the Berks Opera Company’s productions of Amahl and the Night Visitors and Cenerentola. Christa currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland and will complete a Master of Music in Vocal Performance at the Peabody Institute this May. She presently studies with Dr. Carl Dupont. During the 2019-2020 season, she performed as Adele from Strauss’s Die Fledermaus in the Peabody Fall Opera Scenes program, a chorus member in Puccini's La Rondine, as well as the title character in Emilie, an opera in 9 scenes by composer Kaija Saariaho and librettist Amin Malouf. Christa was awarded honors as a finalist for the 2021 MD DC NATS competition and was featured on the EP FLNCH in collaboration with composer/rapper, Jurakhan. This season, in the Peabody Fall Opera Scenes program she played a Wood Sprite in the trio from Rusalka. This April, she also sang the leading role of Gretel in Peabody Chamber Opera’s production of Hansel and Gretel by Engelbert Humperdinck. This year, Christa placed first in both the 2022 District and Regional NATS vocal competition and has advanced to the National round of the competition, set to be adjudicated in June. |
Nathan Hawsey
Nathan Hawsey is a young tenor whose repertoire covers a broad spectrum of genres and characters. Bach to Puccini, he has appeared in Roles such as Basilio in Le Nozze di Figaro, Prunier in La Rondine, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Ferrando in Così fan tutte, Jupiter in Semele, Dorvil in La scala di seta, Vašek in Prodaná Nevěsta, and Private Sam in the world premiere of Urban Legend, to name a few. Mr. Hawsey has also appeared as a soloist in major works such as Bach’s St. John Passion, Magnificat, and Mozart’s Coronation Mass. As an ensemble member, Mr. Hawsey has performed in the chorus of La Rondine (Peabody Opera), La Cenerentola (Annapolis Opera), and the staged premiere of Pride and Prejudice (Peabody Opera). Originally from Virginia, Nathan currently resides in Baltimore, MD. Under the tutelage of Randall Scarlata, he is a recent graduate of the Master of Music degree program at the Peabody Conservatory. Jordan Prescott
Hailed by The Baltimore Sun as a “rising organ star,” Jordan Prescott has established himself as one of the leading organists, conductors, and scholars of his generation. Jordan holds the Master of Music from Peabody Conservatory where he is currently a doctoral candidate in organ. He is Organist-Choirmaster at Grace and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Mount Vernon. Jordan earned first prize in the 16th International Organ Competition at West Chester University and was named one of Diapason magazine’s ’20 Under 30’ in 2019. Jordan’s research has been published in The American Organist and Tracker magazines and he regularly presents conference workshops, guest lectures, and masterclasses. Jordan served seven years as Associate Musical Director for The Lost Colony Outdoor Drama on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. His credits there include directing Twenty-Fifth Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Company, The Hunting of the Snark, as well as four concerts dedicated to the music of Stephen Sondheim. As a vocal coach, his students have gone on to enjoy extended runs in multiple Broadway and national tour productions including Hairspray, Hamilton, and The Book of Mormon. During Jordan’s tenure at The Lost Colony, the production was awarded the TONY Honor for Excellence in Theatre from the American Theatre Wing. |
