FUND
This unit is no longer functioning . . . 
and it is cold in the lobby!
The IN-WALL heating and cooling unit for the lobby has ceased to function .... it is about 5 yrs old and that is the expected average life-span.   A replacement unit for just the lobby costs about $1,200 plus installation.
Spotlighters would like to up-grade to an HVAC system that would more adequately heat and cool the lobby, box office, and production office.   A mini-split system.  The cost for that system will run between $18,000 and $22,000
We are exploring capital grant options, but will need to meet about 15-20% of the cost.

Spotlighters is excited to offer a new way for you to support the
​Exceptional, Diverse, Creative & Bold theatre you love by funding
ONE DAY’S OPERATING EXPENSES for the theatre!
Every day Spotlighters has routine and boring expenses:  rent, utilities, insurance, copy paper, salaries, cleaning services, voice and internet service, and even pest control.   These expenses happen with or without a show on the stage. For the 2023/2024 Season, Spotlighters needs to make $150,000 to pay the bills.  After taking out expected income from Ticket Sales and annual Grants, that is $275 of income per day to keep the doors open.

Spotlighters is asking you to support ONE DAY of the theatre’s operations for just $275.  

We encourage those who are able, to consider funding more than one day, even a week.
     For $1,375, you get to select 5 days – one work week!
     For $825, you fund a three-day weekend.

Many of you already donate more than $275 a year, and we deeply appreciate your generosity! We also know that some of our patrons and partners are not able to donate at the $275 level ... so, we’re asking that you join with friends and family to give a combined gift to meet the $275 level.

You can give the $275 up front or set up a monthly sustaining Gift of $23/month either from your credit or debit card for an annual gift of $276 - one full day of operating expenses at Spotlighters!

Use the donation to celebrate and recognize a special day - an anniversary, a birthday, a graduation, or create a family/friends day.   Just let us know the date you wish to fund, and the name you want listed.   

All Donors will be recognized with their name or the name of their group on a SPOTS-365 Calendar in the Theatre Lobby. ​

Spotlighters Partners through their tax deductible donations provide over 50% of the theatre’s budget. This allows the theatre to produce exceptional, diverse and creative productions and provide many opportunities for young artists. These donations also provide for the completion of many needed improvements to the theatre.

  • Note:  Your recurring donation will be on the same date each month, as the initial donation date.
  • Note:  If a donation is entered on the trailing days of a month, after the 25th, the recurrence date will be set to the 25th of the month for the future to accommodate weekends and months with different lengths.  The exception to this is quarterly recurring donations. Quarterly recurring donations will always process on the last day of each quarter.
