Spotlighters Theatre understands that weather conditions across the Baltimore region can vary drastically from area to area (or street to street) and day to day!
In the event of a weather emergency, Spotlighters will consult with local officials and weather services to determine the extent and severity of the storm. The director and stage manager will assess if cast members can safely get to the theatre for a performance. The decision to cancel a performance is made no less than 4 hours prior to curtain. (4pm for an 8pm performance, 11am for 2pm performance).
If the theatre determines that a performance can be held, then the "show will go on!" A liberal exchange policy will be in effect, meaning that patrons will be allowed to exchange their tickets for future performances of the same production. Patrons may use the EXCHANGE link on the website (under BUY TICKETS) or call the theatre to make the exchange. Exchange tickets are subject to availability and must be completed 1 hour prior to curtain for online exchanges, or before the end of the performance for telephone exchanges.
If a performance is held, there are NO REFUNDS on pre-paid tickets.
If the theatre determines that a performance cannot be held, this decision is made at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled curtain time. In this case, patrons are given four options:
NOTE: Tickets being exchanged must be exchanged within 7 days of the canceled performance.
Refunds must be requested within 7 days of canceled performance.
All other tickets will be converted to donations after 7 days.
