One of the longest running non-musicals in Broadway history, this Victorian England psychological thriller, also known as Angel Street, spawned a new generation of stage thrillers and led to the 1944 Academy Award Winning film, starring Ingrid Bergman.

The tale follows Bella Manningham, a sensitive woman, whose husband has almost convinced her that her sanity is disintegrating. When a mysterious police inspector arrives and suggests that Jack Manningham is suspected of a black-hearted murder committed fifteen years ago in the very same house, the game of uncovering the necessary evidence begins....
