AUDITIONS at Spotlighters Theatre - PLEASE READ COMPLETELY
Spotlighters Theatre holds auditions for productions 8 to 10 weeks before the scheduled opening of the show.
Typically auditions are on Saturday 11am - 3pm and Sunday 6pm - 9pm. Please verify dates and times on the specific audition page.
Some roles may be pre-cast and will be noted in the audition notice.
All actors should bring their resume, current headshot, and rehearsal conflicts to the audition.
All auditions are OPEN CALL unless noted in the specific audition notice.
For Musical Auditions, you will be asked to perform 24-32 bars of prepared music, but you may also be asked to sing another cut from that music or from another selection. An Accompanist will be provided. Sheet music in the proper key MUST be provided. A'cappella auditions are not allowed.
Please have all conflicts for the rehearsal period available, and please note on Audition Form.
Please verify that you are available for all performances.
All roles are non-equity and are non-paid.

THE WOLVES
Spotlighters Theatre is looking to fill TWO roles in their upcoming production of The Wolves by Sarah Delappe. All other roles have been filled, however if interested in understudying any roles
or working on the production team, please reach out to Director Lanoree Blake at lanoree.blake@gmail.com AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
All ethnicities, sizes, gender identities, and gender expressions are encouraged to audition. Bring your theatrical resume, a headshot, and a list of major conflicts from Apr 27 - July 21, 2024 No conflicts will be approved after Callbacks. A Rehearsal schedule will be set once the production is cast. Please prepare a one to two minute comedic monologue. The show has very fast paced, overlapping dialogue so monologues in the style of Gilmore Girls, anything by Aaron Sorkin, comedies like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia or The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel etc are encouraged. After your monologue you will read sides cold at the audition. Actors will read sides from the script for the audition. Sides provided at the auditions. This show is very physical, and each actor will be expected to participate in repeated vigorous physical exercises for each scene. (ie: pre-games stretching warm-ups, etc.) Comedic ability and skill at working in an ensemble will be of particular interest for this production. Actors may be asked to remain to read with other actors. CHARACTERS

A girls indoor soccer team warms up. From the safety of their suburban stretch circle, the team navigates big questions and wages tiny battles with all the vim and vigor of a pack of adolescent warriors. A portrait of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for nine American girls who just want to score some goals. There is no official rating system for live theatre.
