Playwright: Suzan-Lori Parks Show Dates: 9/19/25-10/12/25 Director: Rain Pryor Co-Producer: Endangered Species Theatre Project Season Producer: Valerie Lash THE STORY - Topdog/Underdog is a Pulitzer Prize-winning play that explores the lives of two Black brothers, Lincoln and Booth, who navigate poverty and sibling rivalry. Abandoned as teenagers, the brothers rely on each other for survival. Lincoln, a former con artist, now impersonates Abraham Lincoln at an arcade, while Booth makes a living as a petty thief. The play delves into their troubled past and examines whether they can support each other to build a better future. AUDITIONS

Playwright: Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard Show Dates: 12/5/25-12/21/25 Director: Adrienne Bergeron Season Producer: Valerie Lash THE STORY - Set in the fictional town of Tuna, Texas, A Tuna Christmas centers around the town’s annual Christmas Yard Display Contest, won 14 times in a row by Vera Carp. A mysterious "Christmas Phantom”, known for vandalizing the yard displays, threatens to throw the contest into turmoil. Meanwhile, Stanley Bumiller is attempting to end his probation, Bertha Bumiller is trying desperately to hold her family together at Christmas time, and Joe Bob struggles to successfully mount his production of a holiday classic. Through it all, hilarity is the real gift for everyone this holiday season. AUDITIONS

Baltimore August Wilson Celebration Playwright: August Wilson Show Dates: 1/9/26-2/1/26 Director: To Be Announced Season Producer: Valerie Lash The Story - Set in the backyard of a boardinghouse in the 1940s, the play begins and ends after the funeral of one of the main characters. Through a series of flashbacks, we meet an aspiring blues musician, an ailing old man, and three single women. As the play bounces back and forth in time we experience the plight of African-Americans struggling to find meaning while navigating the realities of post-war poverty in Pittsburgh. AUDITIONS

Antigone’s brothers have been killed in the civil war and the new ruler, Creon, does not want the body of the rebel brother, Polynices, to be properly buried. Antigone defies Creon’s decree despite the consequences she may face in order to honor her deceased brother. AUDITIONS

Or Learning To Share Playwright: Jeffrey Higgins Show Dates: 6/12/26-7/5/26 Director: Lydia West Choreographer: Robert Mintz Season Producer: Valerie Lash THE STORY - The Crayon King, or Learning to Share is a family-friendly musical about four kindergarteners (played by adults): Ricky, Frankie, Jimmy, and Kristen. Their social status is based on the size of their crayon box. Ricky and his best friend, Frankie, each have twenty-four crayons. Jimmy always tries to just be his creative self, but he is constantly confronted with the difficulties of having only eight crayons. Kristen manipulates her fellow students by wielding her forty-eight crayons over them. Secrets come out. Feelings are hurt. Crayons are broken. But in the end, these youngsters learn that it should be who you are on the inside and not what you color with that counts. AUDITIONS
