A refreshing new storm
is brewing at the Audrey Herman SPOTLIGHTERS Theatre – a Tempest
not of any time, not of any place, not of this world!
After more than
20 years, Shakespeare returns to the SPOTLIGHTERS stage. Tempest was thought
to be Shakespeare’s final work, and is a vintage piece showing the
playwright at the height of his powers, brimming with theatricality, rich
with humor – from the physical to the ironic to the bawdy –
zestfully sprinkled with wonderful insights into the meaning of life all
the while spiced with love!
The
Tempest opens February 11, 2005 and runs through March 12. Show times
are 8pm on Friday and Saturday with a 2pm matinee on Sundays. Tickets
are $12 for adults with discounts for students, seniors and Baltimore
