The Academy is designed to help you improve and expand your theatre skills.
If you need something - ask!
If you aren't sure about something - ask!
Try something new; take a risk; you're here to stretch your skills and limitations!
If you think you will be embarrassed by doing something:
tell us why!
If you think you can't do something:
tell us why!
Parents/guardians: please help us enforce our dress code by bringing your students prepared.
This is a theatre academy.
We will be doing LOTS of physical activity, so:
Dress comfortably: No skirts, no tight clothes, no tight jeans, etc.
Wear shoes that protect your feet, but also allow you to move. NO flip-flops or sandals!
No bulky jewelry. It's dangerous, and distracting.
Lunch is provided for free by the Baltimore Food & Nutrition , Maryland Department of Education and the US Department of Agriculture. It is not fancy - but it is a basic and nutritious lunch.
We also have a morning and afternoon snack as well.
If you have dietary restrictions, please make us aware.
We will make all attempts to meet your dietary needs, but it may be necessary for you to bring some lunch items from home.
