"PARTITION" by Ira Hauptman
Directed by John Sadowsky
March 5 - 28, 2010
Ramanujan, a young, self-taught mathematical genius has been invited to Cambridge, England by the great professor of mathematics, G. H. Hardy. Although separated by differences in culture and personality, they develop a unique relationship through their passion for mathematics---with the assistance of an Indian goddess and a seventeenth century ghost.
This wonderful fantasy about the nature of art and creativity, science and religion, the clash of cultures, and human relationships is based on real historic figures and events in the early twentieth century.
